Catherine Tarbell Hull grew up in ward 3 and has always called this home. Her parents Bill and Penny were a staple of the community and worked hard to better the city and its people. After graduating from St. Cloud State, Catherine moved to nearby Minnesota towns to try and find her own path, but she ultimately dreamed of returning to Chaska. She had always kept property in Chaska, with the hope to one day build there. She and her husband were able to make it true in 2023 in the town that always felt warm and welcome to all.

Chaska is a beautiful town with a rich history, which shows in its parks and communities. While proud of what we've grown into, we feel it can be done better and it's time for a change in Ward 3.

We build not just for ourselves, but for those that come after us. Thinking about the long term benefits and drawbacks should be behind every decision. Experience and understanding are key to being successful.
I am running for the Chaska City Council to bring common-sense leadership, open communication, and transparency to Ward 3. With a deep-rooted sense of pride in my hometown, I am dedicated to ensuring our local government works directly for the people it serves.
As a proud Chaska High School graduate, my passion for forward-thinking leadership started early when I became the first student in the district to utilize the Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program. For the last decade, I have worked locally as a Business Analyst and Project Manager. My professional background equips me with deep experience managing budgets, collaborating with diverse teams, and solving complex problems. Additionally, my three years of service on the Belle Plaine Planning Commission provided me with direct insight into municipal planning and development.
I understand that rising costs are making homeownership increasingly difficult. On the council, I will use my financial expertise to carefully weigh the cost versus impact of every tax dollar, ensuring Chaska leverages its tax base logically and responsibly. I am committed to building upon Chaska’s rich history while maintaining the warm, inviting community that families and businesses are proud to call home.

President Lyndon B. Johnson
We would love to hear from the people of Ward 3 and the rest of Chaska!
